Proven experience building and maintaining core data infrastructure from the ground up.

Expertise in integrating diverse external systems like POS, payroll, and inventory via APIs.

Strong skills in data quality assurance, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.

Demonstrable ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and own projects end-to-end.

Able to ensure significant work hour overlap with European (CET) and Eastern (ET) time zones.

Nice to Have

Professional experience in the retail, hospitality, or multi-location business sectors.

Exposure to designing and implementing real-time analytics systems.

A keen interest in supporting AI-driven forecasting and operational analytics.

About the job

EDDA.AI is seeking an expert Senior Data Engineer to build and lead our data infrastructure. This is a critical, high-autonomy role where you will architect the core systems that ingest, process, and deliver high-quality data from various sources. You will be instrumental in enabling our AI-powered dashboards, forecasting models, and operational analytics for the retail and hospitality industries.

Design, build, and maintain a scalable and reliable data infrastructure for an AI platform.

Develop and manage robust data integration pipelines from a wide variety of external systems (POS, payroll, inventory).

Implement rigorous data quality checks, monitoring, and validation to ensure absolute data integrity.

Collaborate with the product and AI teams to structure data that supports advanced analytics and forecasting models.

Optimize data processing for both large-scale batch operations and real-time analytics use cases.
