Launching interview assistance on Vouch
A calmer, clearer way to run interviews – built on your own context.

Today we’re releasing something many of you have asked for, and we’ve chosen to build it differently from the typical “AI notetaker” products that have flooded the market.
From now on, Vouch includes integrated interview assistance as part of your hiring workflow. You don’t need to add yet another subscription, buy a separate meeting bot, or manage another login. It works out of the box and uses the same credit system that powers the rest of the assistant.
But the real value isn’t the meeting bot or the transcription itself.
You can keep using your preferred notetaker if you like. You can upload or paste a transcript from anywhere. Or add your own notes. The meeting capture is just the smallest part of what we’re releasing.
The important part happens before and after the interview.
Before: a grounded, structured understanding of the role
Because the assistant helps you scope the job properly, defining the qualifiers, clarifying what good looks like, and agreeing on the true criteria, the interview starts with a far more coherent view of what you’re evaluating.
Most tools treat every interview as identical; Vouch walks into it with context.
By the time you reach the interview stage, the system already understands the role in detail, the expectations, the red flags, the decision criteria, and the trade-offs you’ve already discussed. That context becomes the anchor for everything that follows.
After: the hardest part becomes easier, making sense of what you learned
Once the interview is done, Vouch helps you interpret the conversation relative to your role definition.
As something connected to the actual requirements.
You’ll see:
- what parts of your criteria were covered clearly,
- what didn’t come up and probably needs another pass,
- where the candidate’s answers align with previous signals,
- where things feel unclear, thin, or contradictory,
- and what deserves a follow-up question or a deeper probe.
It doesn’t pretend to “know” the right hire, but it removes the cognitive overload that normally makes decision-making messy and subjective.
When multiple people interview the same candidate
Teams often struggle to compare interviewer impressions because everyone takes notes differently, uses different language, or focuses on different signals.
With Vouch, every interviewer contributes in their own style, but all feedback is mapped back to the same underlying criteria, whether you rely on the AI assistant or drop your own notes. The assistant makes it easy to see:
- where the team aligns,
- where opinions diverge,
- what evidence is missing,
- and where someone caught something others didn’t.
This creates structure without forcing anyone into learning rigid forms or artificial scoring systems.
The interviews remain human.
The interpretation becomes clearer.
And because Vouch already sees the whole picture…
It can bring in insights from screening answers, CVs, earlier evaluations, emails, comments, and any previous interviews – giving you a clean, unified understanding of the candidate without hunting through documents or tabs.
This is what most hiring systems simply can’t do, because they don’t actually understand the role you’re hiring for or the signals you already collected.
When everything sits in one shared context, the assistant can surface what matters, at the right moment, and help you avoid making decisions based on partial memory or isolated impressions.
Available today, powered by your existing credits
Interview Assistance is now live for all users.
There’s no separate subscription, no extra product tier, and no bolt-on to purchase: it simply uses your existing credits like any other part of the assistant.
Whether you use our meeting capture or prefer to upload your own transcripts, you’ll get the same contextual support before and after each interview.
Over the next weeks we’ll roll out improvements to collaborative evaluation, deeper interview planning, and more advanced analysis across multiple conversations with the same candidate.
We can’t wait for you to try it.
This is one of the most meaningful steps so far toward a calmer, clearer, end-to-end hiring experience.
